State Bank of India (SBI) has recently come up with a heartwarming sweetener for its customers. Announces the launch of a new feature. This will make SBI transactions more secure. This will cause turmoil for the clients.
SBI ATM card transactions can now be easily blocked. All you have to do is send an SMS. You can block transactions via SMS as soon as your SBI debit card is lost or stolen. Alternatively, the card can be blocked by calling the SBI Customer Care Center or through Net Banking or the SBI Click App.
Card transactions can be easily blocked through SBI's newly launched SMS services. Plus customers can find out how much their bank account balance is. Also get a mini statement. You can also request for a check book. Also get an account statement for the last six months. Home loan, education loan interest certificate is also available.
State Bank of India has introduced this new feature with the aim of curbing ATM scams. ‘We’ve brought a new feature to make customer transactions secure. We alert customers via SMS when they receive requests such as mini statement and balance inquiry from an ATM. Then customers can block their debit card immediately before the transaction takes place, ”SBI tweeted.
If you want SBI customers to avail SMS services, you need to have a registered mobile number linked to your bank account. Type BLOCK through this mobile number, enter a space, enter the last four digits of the debit card and send an SMS to 567676. Now your debit card will be blocked.
If you do not register the number with your bank account then you need to register the mobile number first. For this you need to type REG to 09223488888 number, give space and enter the account number and send. Then you will get a confirmation message. You will then need to send another SMS to block your card. The card can now be blocked through internet banking. To do this, log in with Net Banking and go to the Services option. There will be called ATM Services. Clicking on it will show that it is a block ATM card. This can block the card.
